Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Junior Millwright/ Electrician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment under the supervision of a Senior.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in Installing Machinery and Equipment: Follow blueprints, schematic drawings, and other specifications to install machinery and equipment correctly.
- Perform Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operation. Perform preventative maintenance tasks such as lubricating parts, replacing belts, and repairing machinery components.
- Troubleshoot and Repair: Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and machine components using test equipment, hand tools, and personal knowledge to determine root cause and remedy.
- Adhere to Safety Procedures: Follow all safety protocols and workplace policies. Use personal protective equipment as required.
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, industrial electricity.
Required Qualification and Experience:
- Trade tested with 3-5 years of experience
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
